Located in a former cabinetmaker's workshop, the Papotte Museum offers to the visitor a vast panorama of all the crafts of yesteryear that have made the life of our countryside: from the clog-maker (with the manufacture of a hoof using a machine dating from 1947) to the shoemaker, from the farrier to the peasant ... All their tools, objects and utensils are exposed. Passionate and qualified guides give a vivid insight into their uses and their usefulness. Furthermore, the Papotte Museum was enriched recently with a loom dating from 1850. A presentation of its functionning and the cultivation of hemp is also proposed to the visitor. Finally, the discovery of a modest farm of the last century and a reconstituted classroom complete the visit, a visit that has long been enjoyed by both adults and children.
