Musée du Patrimoine Gueugnonnais
Discover the local heritage of Gueugnon. Geological approach with panels and displays of local minerals and fossils. Archaeological section tracing the history of the Vieux Fresne site, a Gallo-Roman ceramic production centre. History of the Gueugnon forges, from their creation (1724) to the present day. Temporary exhibitions.
Next to the museum, a pottery workshop welcomes the public in July and August.
The season closes each year with the European Heritage Days.
