The site of the forges (the former slag heap) is still a great place to take a stroll. The buildings, constructed at the end of the 17th century, are located on a peninsula in the heart of the river Ognon.
The historical, technical and social dimensions of the site have been preserved. The residence of the former forge masters adjoins the workers' accommodation and the gardener's house.
Today, the former workshops house a museum that can be visited from April to October. The guide explains the history of the site, the daily life of the workers and how some of the machines worked.
