The Maison du Patrimoine Oral de Bourgogne is committed to transmitting, preserving and promoting the words and cultures of the Morvan region and elsewhere through music, dance, voices and languages in order to promote living together.
Its exhibition will allow you to discover where popular cultures draw their singularities and how they are co-constructed from generation to generation between yesterday and today.
The question of transmission is at the heart of this visit, in order to understand what light this orally transmitted popular culture sheds on our present and on the collective invention of a shared future.
To visit: a resource centre (sound archives and oral heritage media library) and two temporary and permanent exhibition rooms.
