Departure from the Place du Champ de Foire, at the foot of the signposted footpaths, at the corner of Rue du Petit Pont and the cemetery. Car parks and caravan park 80m away.
(D/A) Go up Rue du Petit Pont towards the town centre.
(1) In front of the church, turn right towards Rue des Canards.
(2) Cross the ruisseau de la Vrille. After leaving the first two paths on the right, take the third on the right and at the crossroads, take the one on the right again. Don't hesitate to turn around from time to time to admire the village of Treigny, which at times gives the impression of sinking into this valley.
Continue along this path, always straight ahead, sometimes descending.
(3) After stopping at the La Marlée washhouse, the climb is tough. Don't be discouraged - think of the village washerwomen who used to haul up their washed clothes on wheelbarrows - cheer up!
(4) When you reach the road, turn left as far as the next crossroads. At this crossroads, turn right into the main street.
(5) Turn right. Keeping this street on the right, drive past the village's historic old houses. Turn right onto the Grande Rue de Perreuse in front of the church.
(6) A few metres after the Sully lime tree, turn right into Rue des Chaumes. Continue straight ahead along the avenue of lime trees (Rue de la Chaume).
(7) At the end of this alley, take the track opposite. Continue as far as the hamlet of Diancy.
(8) At the entrance, turn left and continue straight ahead until the next crossroads, where you fork right. At the end of the descent, follow the road for 150m.
Take the track on the right, following it as it bends slightly to the left.
(9) After crossing the ford on the small stone bridge, rejoin the road (D66) and take the rising path opposite, again intersecting a road (D1). The path continues for 200m.
At the first crossroads, take the track on the right.
Continue until you reach the D1 road. Turn left just before the cemetery and rejoin the starting point (D/A).
