Start from the Place de la Mairie car park.
(D/A) Head for the crossroads formed by Rue de la Gare and Rue de la Chapelle (north-west). Go straight across towards Perreuse, leaving the housing estate on your left.
(1) Take the dirt track on the left. Go past the football pitch. Cross the road, leaving the calvary on the right to reach La Madeleine (group of 2 houses on the left).
Take the road on the right (D3) for 200m.
(2) Stay in the right-hand lane until you reach the crossroads of 5 roads (229). Take the second road on your left and continue to the next crossroads.
(3) Cross the crossroads and follow the lane along the fields for approximately 750m. At the T-junction, turn right. At the next crossroads (228), turn left. Go through the woods.
(4) At the second fork in the road, turn left towards Flassy farm.
When you reach the farm, go around it, still keeping to the right, and continue along the tarmac lane, passing the merry-go-round well.
(5) Continue, turn left and follow the surrounding wall of Château de Flassy, which is partly hidden by a thick hedge. Reach the road.
(6) Follow the road to the right for 100 m, then take the right-hand path (transformers on your right). At the crossroads, turn left, leaving the road on the right as it enters the farm (dogs are often present) and end up on the main road.
(7) Continue along this road on the right for 300m. Arrive at the first crossroads. Cross over and take the left-hand lane at the fork, then immediately left again.
(8) Continue straight on for approximately 2.5km. You will come to a small road.
(9) Turn right and after 300m turn left onto a dirt track. This track is in fact an old Roman road on which you should continue straight ahead in a north-easterly direction.
(10) Cross the D66 with care. Continue straight ahead until you reach the D6.
(11) Cross this road and continue straight ahead on a tarmac section. Leave a tarmac lane on the left. Pass an old farmhouse on the left to reach the Montagne des Alouettes.
(12) Arrive a few metres before the altitude marker (367m). Take the dirt track on your left, then turn left again at the next one. Leave the old windmill (private property) on your left.
Keep to this main path, ignoring the paths on the right and left, to rejoin the road (D6).
(13) Cross the road and go down the track opposite. Let go of the left and right footpaths to reach a tarmac lane. Pass a pond on your left. Join La Villeneuve and go straight across on the only access road. At the crossroads on the outskirts of the village, take the road on the left.
(14) Before the next road (D66), take the track on the right. After about 500m, leave the track and take the path on the left (marker on the ground) which leads to a small tarmac road. At this crossroads, go straight ahead. Then turn left again onto Rue de la Chapelle, opposite the café and Notre Dame de Lorette chapel.
(15) Take the descending road, skirting the church on the left, passing between the church and the house to reach the start car park (D/A).
