The Orme du Pont from Moutiers-en-Puisaye

Departure from the Moutiers church car park.

(D/A) Head east on the minor road, up to the first crossroads.

(1) Go straight ahead. Follow this road through Le Tourailler, then through Saint-Michel, reaching the Croix Saint-Pierre.

(2) Continue as far as the main road (D955).

(3) Follow this road for 100m, turning right. Watch out for traffic.
Then turn left onto a tarmac road. Go past Les Trois Fontaines and continue until you reach the Orme du Pont pond.

(4) Leave the pond on your left and climb to the right towards Les Dubois, leaving the Jacquots farm on your right and the hamlet of Les Veillats on your left. Reach an old brickworks.

(5) Turn left to cross the main Saint Sauveur to Saint Amand road (D955). You will come to the village of Les Cagnats, which bears the name of one of the region's former potters.

(6) Keep to this route and head back down to the village of Moutiers to reach the church car park (D/A).
