The starting point is on the Place de Pesselière, near the lime tree known as Le Sully. Parking is available in the area near the joinery.
(D/A) With your back to the joinery, take Rue du Tilleul south towards Les Billards. Leave the 2 streets on your right and left to continue along this small tarmac road.
(1) In the hamlet of Les Billards, pass the calvary on your left, cross the D73 road and go up the street opposite.
(2) After approximately 300 m, turn left. Go straight ahead on the tarmac road and continue along the footpath through the woods.
(3) Cross a small tarmac road, continue and follow the cultivated fields.
(4) At the hamlet of La Sauvin, turn left (east). Continue through farmland and woodland.
(5) Leave the Maupertuis farm on your left and turn right (south). Continue along the path, bending eastwards at one point. Several paths mentioned on the map no longer exist.
(6) When you reach the hamlet of La Petite Poisse, continue straight ahead on the tarmac road. Leave 2 roads on the right, pass hill 216 and reach a track on your left.
(7) Turn left onto this track, which leads down to the Druyes Viaduct.
(8) Join the old railway line on the left; the slope is a little steeper.
(9) On the right is the viaduct, opposite is the junction with a signposted path, and the route continues on the left. The route follows the old railway line in a north-north/west direction. It passes under the D73 road, leaving Les Singes on the left.
(10) At this crossroads, an old gatekeeper's house on the left and a path that runs around it will be a landmark for following the wider path almost opposite our arrival, but slightly off to the left.
(11) With the houses and farms of the hamlet of Les Roches on your left, turn left. Keep heading west through the hamlet to the calvary at the end of the village.
(12) At this crossroads of 4 roads, follow the one on the left of the calvary.
(13) Pass the 3 Cèdres de la Lavière site and continue straight ahead. When you reach Pesselière, opposite the joinery, turn right into Rue du Tilleul, then left in front of the Sully lime tree.
(14) Return to the Place de Pesselière (D/A).
