- Go to the village of Chaulgnes. At the crossroads near the wash-house, turn to the left towards Grand Soury. At the fork, take the street of Langle. After 350 m, at the intersection, turn to the right, towards Pertuiseau, and turn to the right on a grassy path which runs along the football stadium. Open your eyes wide, this path is the ideal place to admire some coveted wild orchids.
- At the crossing with the road D110, in front of a meadow, turn to the right, follow the road on 200 m, and then turn to the left. You will find a stony track in the middle of meadows. At the crossroads, keep to the left and take the GR 654 on the edge of the fields. At the end of this path, continue opposite and you will see, on your left, the Eugnes washhouse and its watering place.
- At the crossroads, stay on the main road of Eugnes up to reach the Y-intersection and turn to the left towards Usseau. Continue on 500 m and turn to the right, before the bend, on a narrow path which goes down in the wood. At the bottom of the path go up the grassy walkway, then follow the path into the Côtes d'Orge, a popular spot for orchids. At the T-junction, turn left and follow the signs to cross the D 138 safely to go opposite, towards Chalons.
- Turn immediately to the left on the dirt track. At the crow's feet, take the path on your left. At the bend, you will have a superb view of the neighbouring villages.
- Continue on the same track up to the tarred road and turn to the left. Enter the hamlet of Chalons. At the intersection, turn to the right and to the next crossroads. You are now on a dirt track which you keep to the right. At the crossroads, turn right and follow the wood to the village of Chaulgnes.
