The P'tite Maison woodland trail runs for around 5km along local paths through the Maltat and St Seine woods.
You'll discover the diversity of the vegetation, as well as its homogeneity, due to its geology: alluvial soil made up of sand, clay, marl and small pebbles, formed during the Tertiary period 10 million years ago.
You'll find sessile oaks, beeches, hornbeams, hollies, heathers and ferns, as well as mosses, piloselles and hawkweeds...
There will also be panels describing forestry work in the past and today, and a few anecdotes along the way.
