Signposted route N°70. This family hike is historically very interesting.
Between the shady first part and the edge of the canal in the second part, there is a 28 m difference in height at the beginning.
As far as history is concerned, from Henri IV to Charles de Freycinet, the dimensions of the boats have progressed and new standards have been imposed. Today, we are talking about saving water.
