The Moulin Blot on horseback

The car park at the foot of the Bouhy water tower will be the starting point and parking area for the vans.

(D/A) Head towards the town centre.

(1) Leave the signs for Entrains and follow the church on the left. Pass the cemetery on your right and walk down the path.

(2) When you reach the first house in Dampierre-sous-Bouhy, take a hairpin bend to the right to go up to Bois Pille. Leave the side paths.

(3) At the road, turn right, then left at the next crossroads to reach another crossroads.

(4) Turn left and immediately take the track on the right. Leave the side tracks and reach the D14.

(5) Carefully cross this road to continue along the track opposite (Chemin de Jules César). At a crossroads, turn right onto a side track.

(6) Turn right and come to a hedge bordering a side track.

(7) Opposite the hedge, turn right and follow the path up to Moulin Blot and the orientation table. Carefully cross the D957, take the parallel Voie Verte and go up for around 100 metres.

(8) Turn left at a hairpin bend and you'll find yourself on the path that initially follows this route. The descent, passing a waterhole on the right, leads to a tarmac road.

(9) Take a left-right turn onto a level track. After a period of rain, a stream may cross this path.

(10) Take a sharp right and go straight up this well-marked limestone track.

(11) Bend slightly to the right and quickly reach a tarmac track.

(12) Turn right at the next bend.

(13) At the crow's feet, take the track on the right and return to the car park (D/A).
