Le Gué de la Musse

Departure is from the Église Saint-Roch in Louesme (parking spaces along the road).

(D/A) Head due west, leaving the road on the left, passing the cemetery. Leave the road on the right and continue until you reach the next road on the right. Take this road towards Les Bonnets for about 1km.

(1)Turn left into the downhill lane and continue through the hamlet of Les Maisons Blanches. Continue along the left-hand track (not shown on the IGN map) to the next T-junction. Turn right.

(2) Go straight on until you reach the road. Turn right to the next track on the right.

(3) Turn right across the Musse ford and continue to reach the road.

(4) Turn left to the next track on the right.

(5) Turn right to the next track on the left.

(6) Continue straight on and shortly afterwards cross the Bois de Beaurain to the next crossroads.

(7) Continue straight on, ignoring the next track on the left, passing the Étang d'Annebaude on your right to reach a road. Continue straight on for about fifty metres.

(8) Take the track opposite, leaving the road to the left. Continue straight on through the Bois de Bréau until you reach the next track on the left.

(9) Go straight on until you reach another junction.

(10) Turn right along the Bois de la Boulassière, ignoring the left-hand path which leads to the Bois Planté and continue to the next path on the right.

(11) Continue straight on through Bois de Pimelle and Bois des Frins to the hamlet of Les Frins.

(12) Continue along the road until you reach a T-junction.

(13) Turn left at the crossroads with the D132. Cross the road carefully and follow the wide track opposite until you reach the next T-junction.

(14) Turn right until you reach the pumping station on your right. Continue along the access road until you reach a side road. Turn left to reach the church (D/A).
