The Jardins d'Eau car park is the starting and finishing point for this walk.
(D/A) Turn opposite the toilet building. Do not cross the river, but head towards Avenue Jean Jaurès. Cross it carefully.
In front of the stele, turn left and cross the Loing. Immediately turn right into Rue du Loing.
(1) When you reach the entrance to the square on your right, go straight on for about 50 metres, then turn left into Rue des Chapelles. At Rue de Saint-Cartaud, a slight left/right turn leads to a path. Walk up this path until you reach the Rigole de Saint-Privé.
(2) Turn right. Cross the Rue des Chapelles at the Pont de Saint-Jacques and continue along the track alongside the gully on your left.
(3) Turn left and make a large curve, still following the path of the ditch, to go around the Étang du Coudray.
(4) Turn left onto the Pont du Palais. The Rue du Palais is partly tarmacked and should be followed straight ahead, leaving the Domaine du Coudray on the right. The hard-surfaced path that follows is a private section, it runs alongside a wood on the right and ends at the Pont du Crot à l'Âne.
(5) Continue by turning right up the Rigole de Saint-Privé; it will remain on your right until you reach the road. Pass under the Château du Coudray and the wash-house. Reach the Palais bridge.
(4) Take the road on the left. Cross the Palais and then the Merlin and continue along this small tarmac road.
(6) At the crossroads, turn left and then left again. Shortly after the water treatment plant, after the large bend, turn right onto a track that runs alongside a hedge. At the end of the path, there is a gateway through which you can cross to enter a green area. Walk along the Loing as far as the square and play area. Join Rue du Loing.
(1) Turn left. At Avenue Jean Jaurès, cross this busy avenue carefully. Go straight ahead into Rue de l'Épalu. Go past the motorhome park. In front of the building, turn left and cross the bridge. Leave the fish ladder on your left. In the driveway, turn left, then cross two arms of the river on the bridges. At the exit, turn right to reach the car park (D/A).
