Start from Place de l'Église Saint-Firmin.
(D/A) Take the Rue de la Suchette. Go forward for about 200 m and turn right onto the path known in the village as "Le chemin des chèvres". An arduous climb until you reach a crossroads.
(1) Take the track that goes straight ahead, leaving the hamlet of Dominon on your left. Continue straight on until you reach the road on the right. Walk for about 400 metres, keeping to the right-hand shoulder, until you find a track crossing the fields on the left.
(2) Carefully cross the road to take this path to the hamlet of Les Marandes. Before the road, turn immediately right onto a shady track and follow it to the hamlet of Moulin Gros Bois.
(3) At the road, turn right and, shortly afterwards, take a track that goes off to the left. You will come to a side track.
(4) Follow this track to the right. It runs alongside a fairly wet area on the left. You will come to a junction of four paths. Turn left downhill and open up to the hamlet of Les Méris.
(5) Turn right and stay on the D251 for around 300 metres. After a road on the left, a path emerges, still on the left. Follow it downhill and ford a stream. Then a narrow path begins, crossing the woods and overlooking the Vallée de la Noue before coming to a hairpin bend.
(6) Turn left up the path (it almost feels like you're turning back). Follow the path to the road and continue along the track opposite (EDF transformer on the right).
(7) Leave this track at the fork leading to Métairie Piot and take the dirt track opposite, part of which is dotted with trees. Reach the road at a place called La Tuilerie d'Angelier.
(8) Take the left-hand road. Leave the road leading to Les Miraux and Le Petit Angelier on your left. You will soon come to a crossroads with a sign on your left for l'Étang d'Angelier.
(9) A 500 m round trip will take you to this pond and a pleasant picnic area. Continue on this slightly uphill road. At the T-junction, turn right and continue for approximately 200 m. At the next T-junction, turn left. Go straight over the lane leading to Moulin Bléneau. Go straight on past the lane leading up to Les Cordes.
(10) At the junction of four roads, turn right towards Les Pasquiers. Cross the Malaise on the road bridge and climb up to a house. Take the path on the left. You will come to a ford.
(11) Cross it by the stone footbridge, pass the few houses in Les Forges and follow the left-hand road up to the crossroads. Cross the road carefully and head towards Les Marandes for about a hundred metres, where you will find a footpath on the right. Follow it uphill until you reach a road.
(12) Just before this road, turn right onto a level track. Reach the D114. Cross it carefully and take the opposite lane. At the crossroads, turn right and the road ends in a footpath. There is a lovely view of the village of Dampierre.
(1) Turn right and drive down to the first houses in Dampierre-sous-Bouhy. At the road, turn left and enjoy the view of the church on your way back (D/A).
