CYCLING & CHEESE ON THE WAY TO THE VINEYARDS
What better way to represent the diversity of France's heritage and know-how than by associating cycling and cheese? The Côte-d'Or, by including the Voie des Vignes (which now links the Côte de Beaune to Marsannay-la-Côte) in the "Cycling & Cheese, France on a Plateau" concept, is offering curious and gourmet cyclists a 67 km itinerary. Accommodation and restaurants with the "Accueil Vélo" label will offer all the useful services for cyclists, and companies such as the Gaugry or Delin cheese factories, the Chèvrerie des Hautes-Côtes, the Burgundy dairy cooperative and the Abbaye de Cîteaux will also be taking part.
The winegrowers are proud and happy to help you discover their trade and their land. The landscapes you will cross require a lot of care and attention throughout the year. For your safety and to ensure a good cohabitation, please be vigilant near the machines you will pass and respectful towards the people you will meet who work in the vineyards.
