VELO & FROMAGES SUR LA VOIE DES VIGNES
What better way to showcase the diversity of France's heritage and expertise than by combining cycling and cheese? The Côte-d'Or has included the Voie des Vignes (which now links the Côte de Beaune to Dijon) in the "Cycling & Cheese, France on a Plateau" concept, offering a 67km itinerary for curious and gourmet cyclists. Accommodation and restaurants that have been awarded the Accueil Vélo label will be on hand to offer cyclists all the services they need, while companies such as Fromageries Gaugry and Delin, Chèvrerie des Hautes-Côtes, the Burgundy dairy cooperative and Abbaye de Cîteaux will also be playing their part.
The winegrowers are proud and happy to help you discover their trade and their terroirs. The landscapes you'll pass through require a great deal of care and attention throughout the year. For your own safety and to ensure that you live together in harmony, please be vigilant around the machinery you come across and respectful towards the people you meet who work in the vineyards.
