La Croix Saint-Jean

Departure from the Place du Champ de Foire, at the foot of the signposted footpaths, at the corner of Rue du Petit Pont and the cemetery. Car parks and caravan park 80m away.

(D/A) Go up Rue du Petit Pont towards the centre of the village. After the bar, take the small lane on the right (Rue du Moulin). Walk down to the river La Vrille.

(1) Cross the Vrille on the Pont des Canards bridge. Follow the wide left-hand track up to the ULM runway. Continue along this path.

(2) At the entrance to the village of Les Gourleaux, turn left.
Descend to reach the Croix Saint-Jean. Continue for 100m to cross the road (take care) and take the track opposite.

(3)Cross the ford, continue on the left to reach Treigny, leaving the new cemetery on your right.
Go down Rue du Couvent towards the church.

(4) Turn right into Rue du Professeur Camille Lian. Church and youth hostel (L'Auberge) on your left. Cross in front of the town hall and walk down Rue du Petit Pont. Arrive at the car park (D/A).
