The Lac du Bourdon cut

Depart from the Calanque car park, at the foot of the municipal campsite and close to the leisure centre.

(D/A) Leave the car park as close as possible to the campsite entrance. Opposite the lake, turn left immediately to take the path, which is sandy for most of the way and runs alongside the upstream part of the reservoir.

(1) At the left-hand corner of the waymarker post, a hedged path leads off. Take it and you will reach the edge of the wood. Further on, a sunken track takes over, leading to a cross-country path.

(2) Continue on the left. When you reach a log storage platform, continue straight ahead on the levelled track. You will soon come to your first crossroads.

(3) Turn left onto a woodland track. This too leads to a surfaced track, which you should follow for around 100 metres. Leave this track on the right and take the path that runs alongside the enclosed fields on either side. You will come to a crossroads.

(4) Carefully cross the junction and take the road down to the left, keeping to the right-hand shoulder. At the large bend in the road, let it go and continue straight on towards the lake. At the crossroads formed by the crossroads and the lane leading to the jetty, go straight ahead as far as the Coupure. Do not cross it.

(5) Retrace your steps and, at the junction with the cross path, turn right onto the sandy path or walk along the bank if the water level permits. Walk past the restaurant. At the end, turn left and cross the road carefully to reach the car park (D/A).
