Parking on the Place de l'Église.
(D) With your back to the church entrance, take the main street on the left which runs alongside the square, then turn left into the first street towards Taingy (Rue de la Forterre). Drive for about 300m and pass a farmyard on the right.
(1) At the crossroads, turn right (due south) into a small street that soon becomes a footpath. Turn left onto the track that descends immediately after the last farm building (on your right is the lagoon plant). Continue until you come to a small road on your left for about 350m.
(2) Leave this road and take the gravel path up to the shed. Opposite the shed, turn right and walk along the grove (Buisson Berdon) on the right.
(3) Follow part of the old Roman road for 2.5km. The path is very well defined. At the corner of the grove, take the path that goes off to the left (east). At the first junction with the road, turn left and then right at a fork. Cross a perpendicular road (Route de Vassy). After this steady climb, you'll be able to take a breather on the descent, which won't be very long as you'll have to turn left at the bottom of the valley.
(4) Leave this ancient Roman road for a well-marked grass track on the left (west). Leave the first track on the left and take the second one on the left, which climbs up to reach a road.
(5) Go down this road on the right and take the first track on the left. At the next track, turn right, then left, then right again. When you reach the first house, turn right.
(6) At the crossroads with the main road, turn right with the cemetery and column in sight. Continue for 100m and turn left onto the gravel path, forgetting the path that descends to the right and joining the village street by bending slightly to the left. When you reach the street, turn left, walk past the town hall and arrive opposite the main entrance to the church with its two Sully lime trees.
