This 10.5 km, 2-3 hour walk, with a shortened option of 5.4 km, takes you back to the town's industrial past in the 19th century. Along the way, you'll discover the bucolic setting of the River Dragne and admire the washhouses and other characterful houses. After passing through the forest, you'll come to the Etang de Chèvres, a Natura 2000 site popular with migratory birds. You can still see the building that housed the workers who produced cast iron at the blast furnace. On the spot, the Morvan mountains can be seen as an extension of the pond.
