The Brionnais is a little-known part of Burgundy, but it's a paradise for cyclists and hikers, with footpaths absolutely everywhere, intersecting with countless smaller roads. You'll discover an authentic bocage, where man has been raising Charolais cows for centuries. Hundreds of kilometres of paths lined with hedges have been preserved and will be a delight for you to enjoy! The Brionnais is also a major stop-off point for lovers of Romanesque art. More than thirty Romanesque churches dating from the 11th century form an ensemble that is unrivalled in France. On this tour, we offer optional guided tours of the most remarkable monuments on the route. And in the evening, tired but relaxed, you'll enjoy a lovely stopover in a local home, welcomed as friends at a table where you'll be offered meals cooked with local produce. Cathy, Noah, the 'Françoises' (there are three of them!), Martine, Marie Françoise, Marie Christine, all partners with whom we have been working in complete confidence for 20 years in some cases! You'll be welcomed like a duke!
Luggage is transported every day, so you can leave with a light heart and a light body!
So don't hesitate, get off the beaten track and treat yourself to a short break in a little-known corner of Burgundy.
Take your head off the handlebars! Discover the Brionnais, Burgundy's Romanesque garden, at your own pace, along small country roads, by bike.
