Nid Douillet et Nid D'amour

In the heart of the Châtillonnais forest, the Nest of Love and the Nest Douillet are 2 huts perched at 5 and 6 m altitude. Take the footbridge and the suspension bridge to discover the Nid Douillet, a cabin of 28 m² all in logs, on a platform of 90 m². It offers a beautiful living room with a bed 140 and 2 mezzanines near the stars, accessible by a wooden ladder, with 2 beds 90 for one and 1 bed 140 for the other. All the furniture is homemade! Dry toilet and sink with water reserve. Terrace. At 50 m is a second footbridge to access the Nid d'Amour, a cabin for 2 people with 1 bed 140, sink and toilet dry. At its foot you will find a rustic cabin of 21 m² with at disposal a kitchen (hotplate, sink and small gas fridge) and 2 bathrooms with WC (one per cabin). The water comes from a water reserve with filtration, but not drinkable. The electricity of this room is obtained by solar panels. On arrival, the owner will give you a backpack containing torch, water bottles, USB charger and binoculars, before leaving to climb your cabin. Sheets, towels and cleaning included. The cabin is without electricity or heating. Unusual experience to live for nature lovers, who will have the opportunity to hear the animals nearby (wild boar park and fallow deer). Access to the cottage by a small white forest path. Possibility of baskets breakfast (10 €) and rental by the night: 160 € during the week for the 2 cabins and 200 € in the weekend. Possibility to rent the 2 cabins individually by sharing the kitchen.
