Completely and tastefully renovated gîte near owner's house (separated by barn) in upper part of village. Main entrance leads to living room (inset fireplace, double sofa bed for 2 extra people: 10€/person/day) at same level. Large shower room (walk-in shower), separate WC. Large fitted kitchen with direct access (a few steps) to unusual roof terrace (20 sq.m.) with panoramic views of lovely surrounding countryside that can be enjoyed as you eat. 1st floor: 2 spacious bedrooms (two 80x200cm beds OR queen-size bed) (queen-size bed, cot). In courtyard shared with owners you are free to use bread oven. Parking. Wood heating (inset fireplace - will burn unattended for 12 hours), 1st cubic metre free. Owner's arts and crafts shop located just under gîte. Cot, high chair, changing mat, baby bath, safety gate. |Nearby: many walking/hiking trails (GR7 long distance footpath passes in front of house), stag belling in autumn, sources of river Seine, villages of Salmaise and Flavigny-sur-Ozerain. Auxois tourist attractions: Alésia Muséoparc, Château of Bussy-Rabutin. 30 minutes from Dijon, capital of Burgundy. Gîte next to church.
