Tiled ground floor: fitted kitchen opening onto dining room, light & airy lounge (double sofa bed), separate WC. 1st floor: 2 bedrooms with parquet floor (double bed) (2 single beds), shower room. Electric heating (charge based on actual consumption). Parking on property. Access to large, shared fenced garden with fruit trees. Lady owner, a snail farmer, is happy to show you her products. Gîtes can be rented together (for 10 people). Only small pets allowed.|Ideal setting, close to main roads/transport routes and major tourist attractions in the area. Gîte near road and railway track but it has excellent insulation so you can enjoy the advantages without the noise. To see and do: Fontenay abbey, cycle track alongside Canal de Bourgogne (bike hire at Montbard Tourist Information office). Nearby: Alésia MuséoParc, medieval villages of Flavigny-sur-Ozerain and Semur-en-Auxois, Montbard, birthplace of the naturalist Buffon (museum and ironworks), Amphitrite water sports centre.
