On the Route des Grands Crus, the gîte 'L'Ecuyer de Bourgogne' was built in the outbuildings of an old 19th-century winegrower's house. The ground floor of the gîte comprises a fitted kitchen opening onto a large living-dining area, with access to the courtyard and garden (to the south) and the car park (to the north). Behind the kitchen is a pleasant shower room with shower, washbasin and WC. Access to the first floor via a wooden staircase leading to a large bedroom with 3 single beds (90x200) and views over the vineyards. A bedroom with 1 x 160x200 bed overlooking the courtyard and garden. Second shower room with shower, washbasin and WC. Courtyard with enclosed garden of 110 m².
This independent 2-storey renovation, adjoining the owners' home, combines the comfort and modernity of new construction with the charm of the old: exposed stone exterior walls, as well as an interior wall, while the interior courtyard wall has been rebuilt using timber framing, giving the gîte remarkable heat and sound insulation. The gîte is situated in the heart of the vineyards of Marsannay-la-Côte, Fixin and Gevrey Chambertin, beneath plateaux and forests. The site is ideal for walks and hikes, on foot or by mountain bike, along the vineyard paths and through the undergrowth, forest and surrounding valleys.
