The castle has been tastefully restored and furnished with respect to noble and ancient materials in an authentic atmosphere. The décor of our castle is a balanced combination of antiques (17th-19th century) and modern design, creating a spacious and light atmosphere.
Passing through the refined Louis XVI style dining room, which has been restored in the old style and lends itself perfectly to gastronomic meals, you arrive in the large, modern living room with 'Le Corbusier' furniture, a piano and an old fireplace.
In the large, well-equipped kitchen, "the crazy and great lovers of cooking" can enjoy themselves. Under the century-old beams of the castle, the spacious attic can accommodate 3 extra children under a 9 meter high roof!
Castle life in complete privacy.
You can be your own 'chef' in the superbly equipped kitchen or order professionally prepared gourmet breakfasts and dinners on request. Nearby you will find wine bars and restaurants and of course there is the possibility to taste good wine in the cellars of world famous local producers.
From the private courtyard you can admire the monopoly vineyard of Clos du Vieux Château. Here you can bask in the sun on the south-facing terrace, enjoy a good glass of wine, have lunch and relax in and around the new heated swimming pool which measures 10m by 4m.
The private courtyard offers adequate secure parking. The long restoration project has achieved its aim and has restored the medieval character of the building, through the skilful use of authentic materials and decor and good craftsmanship. However, the facilities are very much of the 21st century. From the kitchen to the comfortable living areas to the modern bathrooms, a high-capacity CO2-neutral boiler and a modern central heating system ensure plenty of hot water. Multimedia services are available for those who need to keep in touch with the outside world.
