Quietly, it is a house in the city center in a pedestrian area on the Seine. It faces on another angle the Romanesque church Saint-Vorles and is also close to the resurgence of the Douix. South exposure with a courtyard and a garden at the back.

The whole house is easily accessible (a few steps from the courtyard to the kitchen).
The house is close to shops, pharmacies, banks, hairdressers, restaurants, churches, cinema, theatre and the tourist office. see google map.
The Vase de Vix museum is a 4 minute walk away.
bus line 100m away
A bus serves Dijon 4 times a day. The stop is 100 m away and the journey costs only 1 euro 50.
Other buses go back to Montbard where there is a TGV station (Paris only 1h30 away)

The gîte is located in the centre of Burgundy, between the vineyards of Chablis and Beaune, at the gateway to Champagne.
Nearby: you can visit the Fontenay abbey, a UNESCO heritage site, the former Cistercian abbey of Val des Choues, the abbey of Molesmes where Saint Robert founded the Cistercian order, the Châtillonnais museum and its Vix treasure, the oenocentre Ampélopsis, the Romanesque church of Saint Vorles in Châtillon itself. You can also enjoy walks in the Châtillonnais forests, the future Champagne-Burgundy National Park, the banks of the Seine and the springs of the Douix. There are mountain bike trails and many hiking trails. Other historical sites: MuséoParc Alésia, Bussy-Rabutin castles, Meaulnes, Tanlay and Ancy-le-Franc. Basilica of Vézelay via Chablis.
