Owners of an artisanal goat's milk soap factory, Jean-Paul & Patricia welcome you to a delightful authentic 19th century outbuilding carefully restored with taste, nestled on a former agricultural estate that has been completely restored, just a stone's throw from a charming little hamlet. The setting & site are literally enchanting, nestling on a well exposed south-western hillside overlooking a vast "open" plateau of bocage, with the famous Charolais cows grazing peacefully as close neighbours! Absolute peace and quiet on the edge of meadows and forests, in the hollow of a magnificent undulating country cirque surrounded by wooded hills, a sublime preserved setting of greenery and nature nestled under the mountain of Saint-Cyr, the highest point in southern Burgundy (a unique belvedere offering an exceptional panoramic view as far as Mont Blanc on a clear day!) A very comfortable gîte with modern "compact" architecture. Warm contemporary style mixing Nordic & industrial influences combined with a careful restoration (original beams & stone walls), enhanced by the conservation of an old traditional bread oven (visible in the "window" of the gîte).
