In the middle of the Bresse agricultural countryside, between fields & meadows, bordering the center of a small residential village nestled between the banks of the nearby Doubs (paradise for kayakers & fishermen, famous for its catfish, zander or carp, with natural beaches), remarkable ecosystem protected and classified as a "Natura 2000 Zone" (exceptional ornithological reserve rich in 160 species of birds and very rare plant varieties) and the vast neighboring state forest of Pourlans, literally a wild "green lung" dotted with footpaths (at walk or mountain bike).
