La Maison du Sabotier

The Gîte "La Maison du Sabotier" is a Burgundian house dating from the 1800s and located in the heart of a small picturesque village in the Seine Valley, in the Châtillonnais, within the perimeter of the new National Forest Park.
Lovers of nature, of the calm and simplicity of the places where it is good to recharge your batteries, you will be surprised by the discoveries to be made in the surroundings: Hiking, cycling, horse riding, donkey rides, fishing, visits to abbeys, castles, museums (the treasure of the Lady of Vix), marshes and lakes, the Burgundy canal, springs (of La Douix), fountains and wash houses, remarkable fauna and flora.... not forgetting the local crafts, the gastronomy with local products that will delight your taste buds, the gourmet markets and the tasting of Crémant de Bourgogne (Crémant route).
In the Gîte, when the weather is fine, you will be able to take advantage of the shaded outdoor spaces with flowers for relaxation and meals. You will be close to the banks of the Seine for fishing and swimming and to the beautiful forests for hiking. Possibility of welcoming horses in the meadow adjoining the gîte.
