Private enclosed courtyard (100 sq.m.), covered area with table tennis (bats & balls available), small shed with tumble drier. BBQ, deckchairs, boules, outdoor games for children. Parking. Basic English and German.|Gîte ideally located for visiting many Burgundian sites without travelling too far: Saint-Jean-de-Losne (largest inland river port in France), Auxonne (banks of river Saône, Vauban fortifications), Cîteaux abbey (cheese made by monks), Dijon (capital of the Dukes of Burgundy with its 'Chouette' discovery trail), Great Wine Route winding its way between Fixin, Gevrey Chambertin, Nuits-Saint-Georges. Not forgetting Beaune (Hôtel-Dieu and Hospices), but also, and no further away, interesting places in the Franche-Comté: Dole (Chat Perché route, Pasteur museum), Chaux and Serre forests, Hérisson waterfalls, Besançon (citadel), cheese dairies where you can sample Morbier and Comté cheese and 'cancoillotte', Royal Saltworks at Arc-et-Senans (UNESCO World Heritage site).
