La Closerie de Gigny - La Templiere

La Templiere is a charming country house built in the 15th century. It is one of the 2 houses in La Closerie, where you can enjoy its wooded grounds and swimming pool.
You will have full use of the swimming pool and its private garden, its outbuildings and its private terrace with an outdoor dining area.
If you dream of a holiday in the heart of nature, surrounded by fields of rapeseed and wheat as far as the eye can see, come and stay at La Closerie!
Gigny is a small, peaceful farming village, and the only village in the Yonne to have an elegant twisted bell tower.
The region, famous for its wine and châteaux, offers a wide range of activities and outings, as well as the luxury of being in the countryside all year round.
Pleasant to live in, friendly and comfortable, the Templiere house has a large living room for gatherings in a warm atmosphere.
The Closerie swimming pool is open in fine weather. Access is secured by a childproof gate. Deckchairs and parasols are available for relaxing in the shade of the hundred-year-old lime trees.

- 4 bicycles with child seats are available for long rides through the wheat fields or along the Burgundy canal.

- The old farmhouse is an outbuilding of 80 m2 adjoining the Templiere house. It comprises a room with games for children, allowing them to play sheltered from the heat or rain, and two rooms for storage.
When renovating the house we took care to retain all the authentic features.
The beams, the floors, the cushions and the fireplace have found their place in the decoration, perhaps to the detriment of the soundproofing of the bedrooms.
