Gîte Morvan au Gué du Loup

This beautifully restored gîte is located in the small town of Decize on the banks of the Loire. It is on the 1st floor on 2 levels. You will be able to practise all the activities you wish: fishing in river, canal or pond, cycling on the towpath of the Canal du Nivernais on the tour of Burgundy by bike with the possibility to rent a very good equipment on the spot (bike, for man, woman and child), petanque and children's games. Possibility also of leisures on the nautical stadium located at 1 km (swimming pool summer and winter, children's games, golf, pedal boats, canoe) river tourism on the Canal du Nivernais. But also tennis, petanque, cinemas, library, traditional music festival in July. In the surrounding area: museum of the mine à la Machine, Parc du Morvan, Nevers/Magny-cours car circuit, amusement park of Le Pal 45 mn away, wine tourism at the crossroads of 4 wine regions. This gîte is in a perfectly restored building surrounded by a very large 2000 m² wooded and flowered area. You will be able to admire the magnificent view on the old Decize, or on the old Loire. The first level includes an entrance hall, you can admire the old oak staircase, toilets, a living room with a fully equipped and modern kitchen, nice terracotta tiles on the floor, in the extension a corridor leading to the first shower room, then the living room (convertible 2 persons) with view on the old Loire, old fireplace converted into an office, oak parquet floor, separation with corridor by old wooden sliding shutters. On the 2nd level, large bedroom with double bed, old wardrobe, pretty small desk, straw chairs. Access to shower room and WC via bedroom, washbasin / dressing table.
