Gîte Esope - Château du Mauny

Located 10 minutes from Châlon-sur-Saône, the A6 motorway and 15 minutes from the Montchanin-Le Creusot TGV station, the Mauny estate allows you to discover the charms of southern Burgundy: a wealth of heritage, a wealth of natural landscapes by bike or boat with the green or blue route, and a wealth of gastronomic delights with its delicious wines and starred restaurants
Located in the farmhouse of the castle, the large ESOPE gîte is ideal for a family or friends and can accommodate 12 people. Completely renovated in 2021, it offers maximum comfort, a tasteful decoration and quality equipment. There is a large fully equipped kitchen with a large bright dining room and a table for 10 people. There are 2 bathrooms with bath or shower and 2 toilets, one of which is separate. The 4 bedrooms for 1 to 4 persons offer large hotel quality beds.
The park of the castle allows you to relax, have barbecues, play ping-pong, table football or petanque. We offer you electric or muscle bikes to go on the green cycling path which passes at the end of the property. Sports and leisure activities are possible nearby (horse riding, tree climbing, lake, hiking, visits to castles or museums). Finally, we offer horse-drawn carriage rides with or without wine tasting of our partner winemakers. We organise wine tastings at the château or in the cellars of our partner winegrowers.
