Just an hour and a half from Paris, you'll be staying in the east wing designed by architect Paul Huillard of this large building, set in 3 hectares of parkland and once owned by the Larousse family. The ground floor comprises a bright living room with a terrace overlooking the park, the river and the church, a bedroom and a kitchen. Upstairs is a bedroom with a covered south-facing terrace overlooking the grounds, a dressing room, a bathroom, a second bathroom and 1 separate toilet. Take advantage of the calm of the house to work with the wifi or relax in front of the fireplace. In this small village of character, with its listed church and Puisaye history museum, you'll find a restaurant and a grocery shop. You can take short walks to the old wash-house and chapel, or hike through the forest. Toucy market is 10 minutes away. Nearby, you can visit Auxerre, the châteaux of Guédelon, Saint-Fargeau and Ratilly, the art village of Saint Aubin-Château-Neuf, the Boutissaint park, Chablis, the Bourdon lake, etc.
