In Bresse, southern Burgundy, on a typical half-timbered Bresse farm, La Bonardière is 20 km from Louhans and 30 km from Chalon-sur-Saône and Lons le Saunier:
Country-style Bresse poultry farming in the middle of meadows, fed on our cereals.
As part of the "Bienvenue à la ferme" network, we also sell our PDO Bresse poultry (chickens, capons, poulards and turkeys) and guinea fowl direct from the farm.
We also have a Ferme Auberge (like a restaurant) where we cook the farm's produce according to traditional family recipes (grandmother's recipes).
Our specialities: Crêpes aux Gaudes, Salade Paysanne, Terrine de Volaille, Bresse chicken roast or in cream sauce, Gratin bressan, local cheeses (we are close to the Jura) and home-made desserts.
