Guided tour - Buffon Park and its monuments
The park was laid out as a botanical garden by Buffon in the 18th century and is closely linked to the history of the fortress of the Dukes of Burgundy on which it is built. Classified as a Historic Monument in 1947, the park offers an exceptional natural and historic setting along its fourteen terraces. From Buffon's study to the Tour de l'Aubespin, the highest terrace tower in Burgundy, spend an hour discovering this thousand-year-old site and the buildings that make it up!
The tour starts at the reception of the Buffon Museum.
