Guided tours of the Hôtel-Dieu.
The Hôtel-Dieu of Tournus, a privileged witness to hospital history.
Built in the 17th century and then enlarged until the end of the 18th century, the Hôtel-Dieu of Tournus, with its three wards, is a unique example of the history of the hospital.
The old wards have been restored with their original furniture in order to recreate the atmosphere of the time.
The traditional closed oak beds are still lined up with their central stove and the period utensils. They are a testimony to hospital life since the 17th century. The domestic china cabinets are, for example, displayed on a sumptuous china cabinet.
Its Apothecary's is probably one of the oldest in France.
