Your guide will be waiting for you at the Tourist Office to take you on a 1? hour tour of Cluny on horseback.
Since the 19th century, Cluny has been linked to the great history of the horse. Napoleon I commissioned the construction of an imperial stud farm using stones from the abbey church. The stables were occupied for many years by the stud's stallions. Today, Cluny boasts a "horse centre" that is unique in France, with a stud farm, sports arenas, a racecourse and an equestrian centre. During this visit, we will recount the history of the horse in Cluny, visit the stables and the stud farm museum, and finish by sharing a moment on the competition grounds to enjoy the event.
