Guided tour: "On the outskirts of the town, the Saint Etienne priory and its village" offered by the heritage department of the town of NEVERS.
Discreet and mysterious, the Church of Saint-Etienne is nonetheless "the most perfect monument left to France by the Middle Ages". We didn't invent it, but we're not going to be shy about repeating it! In all simplicity, we'll be talking about its architecture, the Frankish village it saw develop and the role it will play today within the Fédération des Sites Clunisiens in the application for UNESCO World Heritage status.
