On the site of the Musée de la Machine Agricole et de la Ruralité, come and take part in Rétrofoin, a festival dedicated to haymaking.
Expert hands will dexterously wield scythes, mowers, tedders and presses to reproduce the precise gestures and techniques of haymaking in days gone by.
All the poetry of the tedding rites will be found around the grass dried in swaths and stacks. In addition to the event, you can discover or rediscover the museum's extraordinary collection. There will also be a flea market on site.
The museum will also host an exhibition of vintage vehicles, as well as various craftsmen and producers of local produce, and there will be herding dog demonstrations.
A flea market will be held on the site all day, and in the morning there will be a walk in aid of the 'Mots pour Maux d'Enfants' charity.
