Presentation of the 1782 Plan-Terrier of the Seigneury of Plessis-Praslin

This general and geometric map of the Land of the Seigneurie was drawn up in 1782. It is displayed on the ceiling of the entrance hall at Plessis-Saint-Jean castle. Like the cadastres (generalised after the Revolution), this map identifies all the landholdings (plots of land, buildings) by identifying each parcel of land and provides an overview of how the village was organised before the Revolution.
