On Saturday 27 July, take a behind-the-scenes look at archaeology during an open day at the excavation sites at Bragny-sur-Saône (chemin de halage) and Verdun-sur-le-Doubs (chemin de la carotte)!
At the instigation of the University of Franche Comté, archaeologists have taken over the banks of the Saône-Doubs Confluence. During the summer digs organised every year since 2019, they are uncovering the remains of two Celtic settlements on either side of the Saône. Whether you're a history buff or just curious, we'd like to share some of our discoveries with you.
On the programme (no registration required): guided tours of the sites currently being excavated and a chance to chat with the archaeologists. Informal discussions will allow you to delve into the heart of programmed archaeological research and ask all your questions.
Sunday 27/07/2024 from 10am to 12pm and from 1.30pm to 5pm.
- Base rate (Free (no registration required))
