Come and discover the fortified towns of Avallon, Vézelay and Autun; the Cousin and Cure valleys; and all the pearls of the Morvan! Lakes, forests, the Saut du Gouloux, the magnificent Gorges de la Canche, the Haut-Folin (the roof of Burgundy at 901m), Mont-Beuvray...
On the programme for this guided tour :
- 7 full days and 6 nights bivouacked in the Morvan with an experienced and qualified guide
- 26km walk and 500m ascent on average per day
- 6 nights bivouacked in the countryside
- 3 small refreshment points along the way
- Return shuttle bus from Autun to Avallon included

Start: Monday 5 August 9am from Avallon station car park
Arrival: Sunday 11 August 5pm at Avallon station car park
Level of difficulty: 3/4: walking of around 26 km per day, with a difference in altitude of around 500 metres.
Who is this course for? For people over 18 in good physical condition, used to walking independently with a rucksack and keen to discover the Morvan and its wonders.
Group size: 6-8 participants max.
Equipment required: Shoes & clothing suitable for hiking, rucksack, sleeping bag, food, water...
Possibility of hiring equipment for the outing: tent, mattress, duvet, 50-litre bag, pair of poles, cartridge and gas stove.
The Morvan is a small wooded mountain in Burgundy, at an altitude of 901 metres, just 2 hours' drive from Paris and Lyon. Come and discover these mountains, forests, rivers and magnificent lakes!
