Come and discover a flat currently being restored in a 17th century building listed as a historic monument in Mâcon: the Hôtel de Rossan de Davayé.
This private mansion features a "grand salon and antechamber", decorated in the Directoire-Empire style at the time of restoration (early 19th century) by the owner at the time, Abel Desvignes de Davayé, who was also mayor of Mâcon. Abel Desvignes de Davayé was the owner of the property belonging to the Desvignes de la Cerve family, in particular the Château de Rossan in Davayé from 1713.
The tour will give you an insight into the organisation of a private mansion, the restoration of the antechamber with its period fittings, and the ongoing restoration of the grand salon.
The tour will be led by the current owner of the premises.
