Beaujolais INVICTUS exhibition: evolving exhibition by the author-photographer Fabrice Ferrer.
Since 2019, author-photographer Fabrice Ferrer, commissioned by the ODG des crus du Beaujolais, has been exploring the landscapes and vineyards of this wine-growing region. For more than 4 years, meetings and exchanges have given the author a poetic, human and economic view of this region.
This privileged relationship with the players in the Beaujolais wine world gives the author a point of view that resonates today as a resurrection of a region that has managed to reinvent itself and build its future with a new generation that is more motivated than ever.
The author sees a Beaujolais that is undefeated and more than ever in tune with an economic market that is fully in its favour.
"BEAUJOLAIS INVICTUS
Over a long period, the author takes an intimate look at Beaujolais in 3 phases:
- Phase 1 from 23 March to 13 April "the poetic view of landscapes and the art of light".
- Phase 2 from 13 April to 11 May "a humanist encounter with those involved in the world of wine, the author invites us here to moments in the life of the wine world, mixing portraits, gestures and know-how."
- Phase 3 from 11 May to 30 May "a scenographic approach, seeing, hearing, reading and understanding the Beaujolais vineyards."
The photographic journey of the 3 phases intersects and provides a comprehensive and poetic reading of the exhibition.
