One actor, two musicians to stand up to the migrant who comes from elsewhere, to stand in our place as humanity in the face of the scandal that is tearing Europe apart and drowning our fellow human beings.
The actor tells, narrates and sings texts selected by Christian Gangneron, woven into the fabric of Patrick Chamoiseau's Frères migrants. The words and phrases come from all over, from the West Indies and Europe, from Africa and the Orient.
The music intertwines its own threads, cultures and imaginations. With the oud, it's the East and the Mediterranean. With the violin, baroque Europe, civilisation and ruins, the exile of the Gypsies and the Jews. A piece composed by Laurent Cuniot gives voice to a contemporary universal.
With Lorenzo LEFEBVRE (actor), Noëmi SCHINDLER (violin), Yousef ZAYED (oud)
Dramaturgy: Christian Gangneron
