The Cluny competition is the 4th stage of the French Championship, which comprises 9 stages in all. Over the course of the two days, the drivers and their draught horses will take part in two events, the famous skidding course and the timeless 3-trunk test.
A skidding competition is a way of demonstrating the many different ways in which draught horses can be used. It's a spectacular discipline that's easily accessible to the general public. We see this competition as the centrepiece of a major celebration bringing together all those involved in forestry and the horse world.
