René Daudan, the "anachronistic bard", a peasant poet and singer-songwriter, will be presenting his new show, "J'vous ai apporté mes chansons".
He cuts alexandrines into 4 to make triplets and plays guitar. He will be accompanied by Alain Morize on accordion and Aymeric Legouge on guitar, percussion and vocals.
It's a generous show, deeply earthy, poetic, vigorous and gentle, but also a show of complicity between René Daudan and his friends "the locals". He will bring the calm energy of the land to the rhythm of the seasons, with the magic of words sown day after day to harvest songs.
René Daudan sings of his land and the journey from man to man, from Jeannette to Nestor Makno, via La Bruyère. In addition to his vast repertoire, he also sings Gaston Couté, the French poet and songwriter of the early twentieth century, libertarian, anti-militarist, Beauceron...
All you have to do is let yourself be carried away by the magic of the words and the music, and you'll be begging for a little more poetry... this concert promises to be a real thrill!
A divine surprise for those who discover it!
After the show, René Daudan will be signing his books and CDs.
Admission free.
Initially scheduled as part of the Printemps des Poètes festival, date postponed.
